Wow I know that we also say "time flies when you're having fun" but time goes incredible fast here in Barcelona. In the beginning I thought wow 7 months in Barcelona, that's a long time! But now I realize that I’m almost on the half of my time here.

Barcelona is just a awesome city to life and everyday there is something to do. I already saw and did so many things.  On the university I realized a short 7 minute movie with my project group called Casa Tomada, I made a short 1 minute movie for another class and played the actress for the little movie of my schoolmate Didac, I had several presentations in Spanish who went also great :-) , and in the television studio from school I already was the camera woman, the mixer and tomorrow the director. In short I do a lot of different things on the university and it's really great! I learn a lot and it's really a challenge to follow al my lessons in Spanish.

Besides school I really enjoy the life in Barcelona. I go out a lot, have dinner in nice little restaurants here and enjoy the good weather. I already meet a lot of nice people here from different nationalities and there is not one day that I’m bored!!  It's also great that my boyfriend Rory came to visit me here and also my parents. it just so much fun to show the city to them and show how my life here in Barcelona is. This weekend 3 friends were here and that was also great fun! I've got a big room here, so we were with the 4 of us sleeping in my room. It was great fun I can tell you. We had several times just t 23:00 dinner and here that's no problem. Normally in Holland I eat at 18:00 but here my day rhythm is totally different. Going out in the weekend starts here for example at 02:00 in the night. Before that the club is just empty!

Now I think I can already be a professional "Guide"in Barcelona. I've seen the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, Montjuic  and all the other touristic things already many times! But still I’m impressed with all those beautiful places in the city. Every time is still great to see it again.

Tonight the most important soccer match of the year is about to begin. FC Barcelona against their biggest rival Real Madrid. I’m already really excited about this game because Real Madrid got 1 point more than FC Barcelona so it’s really important for FC Barcelona that they’re going to win!!!
